Weblog Changes
posted by Chip Witt

I know it seems like nearly forever since my last post...not laziness, really. I've been writing, but I just haven't finished much of it, and did not want to post incomplete information. Some of my new stuff contains tech How-Tos, product reviews, and resources for the courses I teach in technology management.

In preparation for my upcoming back-logged posts, I've made a handful of changes to my weblog. I've added an RSS 2.0 feed to compliment the already existing RSS 0.91 feed. Both work with the Live Bookmark feature in Mozilla Firefox (and other RSS readers), but 2.0 provides for enclosures. Enclosures are required for Podcasting, and other multimedia syndication. I've also added some tools to make it easier to post from wherever I am. Once again, I have been very impressed by the flexibility of Blosxom.

Anyway, if you've been following along with my posts, new, back-dated writings will be showing up in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers,

CW

"Each blog is like a fireplace, and each post is like a log heaved on top to keep the fire burning. Every post has its own ¨permalink¨, so others can point directly to it. As long as a blog puts out heat and light, others who care about the author's subject are drawn to it. So are Google and other search engines, which sift constantly through the ashes".
